“Now everybody can make a digital storytelling:” Steps that work
Sandi Ferdiansyah is an English faculty member at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. He has been interested in digital storytelling (DST) for English language classrooms since his first presentation about digital visuals at the CamTesol in 2014 funded by UTS Insearch. He received a professional recognition called Handoyo Widodo’s Family Award for facilitating the teaching of DST to young learners in a research funded by Cambridge in 2015. He wrote a chapter entitled “Digital Storytelling” in ETP published by Pavilion Publishing and Media. He co-authored a chapter with Handoyo Puji Widodo entitled “Engaging student teachers in video mediated reflection in teaching practica” in Roultledge International Handbook of Schools and Schooling in Asia.
